Three kilometres inland Palafrugell is a market town and a
cork producing area. The cork museum in the centre
of the town is worth a visit.
The sixteenth century Sant Marti church in the centre of the
town with narrow streets and a wide selection of chic shops.
Palafrugell has a couple of small hotels but the three beach
resorts of Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu come
under the same town hall.
