Pals is a fortified medieval
village skilfully restored. The village buildings
are date back to the fourteenth century and are
perched upon a hilltop setting with splendid views
over the Empordà area. Below the parish church there
is the town museum.
Pals has regular entertainment in the summer and winter months
with a live nativity scene over Christmas.
There are few places to stay in the town but a number
of restaurants and bars.
Pals beach (ideal for windsurfing) is some 4 kilometres
away. A long sandy beach where even in the summer
high season you can find a quiet spot. Pals also
has a couple of 18 hole golf courses.
